ℹ️ What can the Q500 do?
The Trotec Q500 is a powerful CO₂ laser cutter for wood, acrylic, cardboard, leather, textiles and many other materials.
Working area: 1300 × 900 mm
🚨 Important
- Use only after passing the online test or completing an induction.
- Never operate the machine unattended.
- Do not change any settings on the machine.
- Do not clean the lens yourself.

🔥 In an emergency
Fire in the laser cutter
- Stop the job immediately.
- Put out the fire with the fire blanket. The fire blanket hangs next to the PC, right by the laser cutter.
- Notify the Happylab team.
⚠️ Before every start
- ✔ Is the material suitable for laser cutting? Check here: Unsuitable materials
- ✔ Close the lid
- ✔ Wait for the reference run
- ✔ Place the material in the top left corner
- ✔ Set the focus
🧹 After working
- Clean the workstation
- Put tools back
- Remove leftover material
